We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Backend Developer with expertise in Python and Golang to join our dynamic DevX team. As a Backend Developer, you will play a critical role in developing, and maintaining the backend components of our infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including DevX engineers, to build scalable, secure, and high-performance systems that support our deployment pipelines, cloud environments, and monitoring solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Develop high-quality, scalable Python-based applications, scripts, API’s and tools. Build and maintain backend services, including RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database management, using Python frameworks like FastAPI, Flask or Django.
- Understanding Golang and providing debug points on main product code, contribute towards unit test cases and understanding of various Golang Frameworks. Handson working on GoMod and other Go Packages.
- Collaborate with DevX engineers to ensure smooth integration of applications with CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and monitoring tools.
- Collaborate with cloud architects and DevX teams to deploy, monitor, and scale applications in cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Implement unit tests, integration tests, and automated workflows to ensure code quality and system reliability.
- Work closely with DevX engineers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality products in an agile environment.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and production issues across the full stack.
- Ensure the security, performance, and scalability of applications and infrastructure.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Exposure in building scalable and reliable platforms and tools using Python.
- Strong Coding, Design, troubleshooting and problem-solving ability in Python and Golang
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on automation and efficiency.
- Familiar with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a bonus.
- Strong experience with Python, including frameworks like FastAPI, Flask or Django.
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
- Understanding of DevOps principles and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins and monitoring/alerting systems.
- Strong understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation is Good to have..
- Good Knowledge of scripting, automation, and configuration management tools (e.g., Bash, Ansible, or Chef) is Good to have.
- Agile Methodology: Previous experience working in agile environments with strong collaboration and communication skills.
