Placement/Duration:
Full-time After joining in August, analysts are assigned to technology development or infrastructure function that best fits their interests and skill set.
Training program:
A four-week group project serves as the capstone of the 15-week global training program, which also includes an orientation to the firm, intense technical training, and an introduction to proprietary technologies. The Program enables Analysts to establish a solid network among their peers and to gain the in-depth skills necessary to properly prepare them for a long-term career in technology.
Responsibilities:
- Development Teams: The responsibility for designing, creating, and maintaining the applications utilized by the Firm's business units falls on our development teams. Meeting with clients to gather and evaluate requirements is part of a typical day's work, as are decisions on system design, software evaluation, integration, development, testing, and production deployment of applications. One of the many projects available to developers within our technical organizations is the development of high-performing, low-latency electronic trading systems across various asset classes, the provision of sophisticated risk management analytics and systems, and the evolution of complex workflows and life cycle management capabilities across increasingly sophisticated products.
- Infrastructure Teams: To run our company, our infrastructure-focused teams are creating state-of-the-art solutions. Engineers supply the Firm's networks, computer hardware, operating systems, and databases for trading applications, mobile apps, and other end-user applications. They also provide tools, programs, and platforms. The group efficiently develops applications that cover the range of the Firm's clients by working in small, adaptable teams. Some of the tasks accessible to infrastructure engineers in our businesses include building the Firm's websites, maintaining the Windows plant, and creating a client reporting delivery system.
Qualifications/Skills/Reqs:
- Undergraduate, Master's or Ph.D. graduate.
- Preferably, candidates should have majors in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, information technology, or a similar technical field.
- Knowledge of at least one OO language, such as Java, C++, or C#; experience with databases. understanding of operating systems (Windows and Unix).
- Strong database and scripting skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, familiarity with object-oriented development, and a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and complexity theory.
- Exceptional analytical, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. has excellent English.
