Ok, First let's start with training.
Wipro Turbo Selection Criteria/Process:
The top scorers of the Wirpo Elite Exam will be considered for Wipro Velocity Program. Generally, most of the people who successfully executed all the test cases of the two codes in the Wipro Elite Exam in the first phase of selection have got selected for Velocity Training. Those who successfully complete the Wipro Velocity Program with good attendance percentage and clears the tests or exam and projects in this program only will receive the Turbo Offer Letter.
Wipro Turbo Training:
Generally, freshers at Wipro will undergo a training program called PJP ( Pre-Joining Program ) on their PBL App platform. Before the 2022 batch, there was this kind of training program for one month
for turbo people also.
But from the 2022 batch onwards they have changed the process for the Turbo program. They are selecting the top scorers of the Wipro Elite Exam for the Velocity Training Program, and sending Wipro Turbo Offer Letters to only those people who successfully clear the Velocity Training Program.
The velocity training program duration will be around 3 to 6 months on Full stack technologies like .net full stack, java full stack, MEAN full stack, MERN full stack, etc.,.
After completing the velocity training and receiving the Turbo Offer the Turbo Engineers can expect a one-month training called PRP ( Project Readiness Program ).

Project Allocation For Wipro Turbo Employees:
Generally, project allocation in service-based companies is really a big question mark until it's done. People don't know whether they will be allocated to a project or not and whether they will be allocated to the same project of technologies on what they are trained for or not.

But from 2022, most of the Wipro Turbo Engineers can expect developer roles until there are vacancies as they are trained on Full Stack Development Technologies. If there is no requirement, they may be allocated to other projects as well. It purely depends on luck.
Can we expect the project on the same technologies that we are trained on?
There is no proper answer for this till now. But most people say that project allocation on the same technologies we are trained on or project allocation on the trending technologies is purely luck based. Some people will get the projects on the same technologies that they are trained on some people won't. Some people even will get the projects on better technologies that they are trained on and some will get some redundant work or boring technologies.
There are many scenarios where people will get the projects on the same technologies they are trained on or even better technologies, got on-site opportunities and they love Wipro. While some people won't get the projects on the technologies they like or know and they hate the company and resign. This is not only happening in Wipro, in most of the service-based companies the scenario will be the same.
But this scenario may vary incase of Wipro turbo engineers from now. Recently the students or freshers who had done their onboarding as Wipro Turbo Engineer and PRP ( Project Readiness Program ) had got the same projects with technologies they are trained on. This happened in the case of students who got selected from OnCampus Drive.
What to do if we didn't get the project of technologies that we like or are trained on?
- Before the project allocation or starting project, they will explain to you how you will be working, and on what technologies and all. Listen to them carefully.
- Try to convince your manager politely, by saying how good you are in some technology or something if you didn't like it or are not interested. The manager may convince or not.
- Another option is to reject the project. Yes, you can reject the project if you don't like it or not interested. It's a risky thing, rejecting multiple projects may end up with something we can't expect.
Wipro Turbo Engineer In-Hand Salary and Work Timings:
Office Timings: General timings will be 9 AM to 6 PM. But it mostly depends on the client or the project that you are working on. Some people will work for 9 to 10 hours and some will work for 4 to 6 hours. It is totally based on the project and the client.
CTC: 5.5 LPA ( with 1L Bonus )

In-hand Salary: The in-hand salary will be 37k per month. And for every quarter it will be 43k.
Example: Let us say you joined in January, you will receive 37k in January and February and 43k in March, and again 37k in May and June, 43k in July, and so on.
Work-Pressure:
This will also purely depends upon your project and client. But in general, there isn't much work pressure in Wipro.
Wipro Turbo Engineer Salary Hikes:
The salary hikes in Wipro are not ideal for all. The hikes will totally depend on your ratings. Yes, you will be rated out of 5 at the time of the project.
How to get good ratings or a hike?
- Be active in the work.
- Try to communicate with the client and the team, try to bring new ideas, and you will get good ratings.
- When you will get into a project, you will get a Goal & Objective of the project read that, and you will get an idea of how to get a better rating.
