JOB DESCRIPTION:
Duration: 3 months, PPO will be given basis performance About the Role: As a Software Development Intern at Wint, you will be an integral part of the Insight team, contributing to real-world projects and solutions. This role offers the opportunity to apply your technical skills in Java and SQL while gaining valuable experience in cloud technologies and collaborative software development. Please be aware: Candidates applying for this internship must be currently enrolled in a degree program. Key Responsibilities: ● Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and implement software solutions. ● Contribute to various stages of the software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, and maintenance. ● Develop and optimize SQL queries and database schemas. ● Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Java code. ● Engage in code reviews and adhere to best practices in software development. ● Assist in integrating cloud-based solutions into our existing systems (knowledge in this area is a plus). ● Utilize Git for version control and collaborate effectively with team members on shared repositories. ● Actively contribute ideas and solutions to improve team processes and product functionality. Qualifications: ● Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. ● Strong problem-solving skills, demonstrated through impactful projects or contributions to open-source projects. ● Proficiency in Java programming. ● Solid understanding of SQL and database management. ● Familiarity with cloud technologies is advantageous but not mandatory. ● Experience with Git and version control practices. ● A team player with a willingness to learn and contribute significantly to team efforts. ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
