Akamai Technologies is hiring for a Software Engineer - Remote

As an Intern/Co-op - Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:
 
Analyzing system performance, identifying problems, and collaborating to design, develop, and implement solutions.
Extending metrics collection and creating visualizations to better quantify systems performance, and measure the impact of your solutions.
Building tooling to help identify system performance problems faster.
Working with teams across the company to implement your solutions.

To be successful in this role you will:

Be comfortable pursuing issues across the software stack, and enjoy investigating, understanding, and solving problems
Have programming experience in C
Possess an understanding of the Linux operating system and computer architectures
Have experience with concurrent programming, data structures, algorithms, complexity analysis (bonus)
